Privacy PolicyEffective 4 August 2026This policy explains what personal data Breakdoc processes, why it is used, who receives it, and the choices available to you.
1. Data fiduciaryBreakdoc, Gurgaon, Haryana 122004, India, is responsible for personal data processed through the service. Privacy and grievance requests may be sent to support@breakdoc.com.
2. Data we collectWe process account details such as name, email, phone number, language, timezone, authentication records, and verification status; documents and information you upload; generated explanations and actions; credit, order, and payment-reference data; support communications; and technical data such as device, browser, IP address, logs, diagnostics, notification tokens, analytics, and security events.Payment credentials are entered into the payment provider's interface. Breakdoc receives payment and order identifiers, amount, currency, and status, but not full card details, CVV, UPI PIN, or banking password.
3. How and why we use dataWe use data to authenticate users, provide document analysis, generate explanations, maintain history and credits, process and reconcile payments, provide support, send requested notifications, prevent fraud, secure and improve the service, comply with law, and establish or defend legal claims.
4. AI processing and service providersUploaded content may be sent to contracted cloud storage, OCR, and AI providers solely to provide the requested analysis. We may also use authentication, hosting, analytics, notification, customer-support, and payment providers. They receive only data reasonably required for their role and are subject to contractual or legal safeguards.
5. Retention and securityActive account data and uploaded documents remain available while needed to provide the service. When you delete a document, Breakdoc makes it inaccessible, removes its stored file, and redacts user-provided and AI-derived content from active records. Account deletion anonymises direct identifiers, revokes sessions and notification tokens, and removes stored document files. Limited payment, fraud-prevention, audit, dispute, and backup records may be retained where required by law or legitimate security needs.We use access controls, encryption in transit, restricted storage, logging, and other reasonable safeguards; no system can guarantee absolute security.
6. Your choices and rightsSubject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, completion, erasure, withdrawal of consent where processing relies on consent, and grievance redressal. Authenticated users can download a machine-readable data export and delete their account from Profile. You may also change language, appearance, notification choices, and optional analytics consent in the product. Withdrawal does not affect prior lawful processing and may prevent us from providing dependent features.
7. Children and international processingBreakdoc is intended for adults and is not knowingly offered to children under 18. Service providers may process data from locations outside your state or country where permitted; we use reasonable contractual and security safeguards for such processing.
8. Incidents, complaints, and updatesWhere required, we will notify affected users and authorities of a personal-data breach. Send privacy complaints to support@breakdoc.com. We aim to acknowledge grievances within 48 hours and resolve them within one month. Updates will be posted here with a revised effective date.
